Ubud Arrival Information

The first date listed for your retreat is your arrival day.

Check in starts at 12pm with retreat activities beginning from 4pm.

To organise your transport to the retreat we will need:

AIRPORT transfers  – AIRLINE NAME / FLIGHT NUMBER / DATE / TIME

We provide complimentary airport transfers on the first day of the retreat from 12pm – 8 pm.

HOTEL transfers  – HOTEL NAME / ADDRESS / PHONE NUMBER or WEBSITE

If you are arriving from other accommodation in Bali, we  provide a complimentary transfer from the Ubud pick up zone from 12pm – 8 pm.

If you are outside of these areas and times, we can help organize transport to the retreat at your own expense, which can range from $10 - $50 USD approx. depending on the location. Alternatively you can organize your own transport and we will provide you with directions to give your driver.

LATE ARRIVAL - On the first day, the latest time a guest can join the retreat is 9pm. (Please note that if you arrive after 7pm the welcome dinner will be missed)

Important Travel Info

MOST IMPORTANT - Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your return date. You will not be able to travel internationally if your passport doesn't meet this requirement.

You are flying into Denpasar Airport (DPS), Bali, Indonesia.

On your arrival card please write that you are visiting for pleasure / holiday and that the offical property name where the retreat is held is called ‘Puri Rasa, Ubud’.

Most nationalities are granted visa exemption to visit Indonesia for 30 days with Visa On Arrival.

If you have organized an airport transfer with us, our driver will be meeting you to coordinate with the flight information you have given us.

He will be waiting for you behind the barrier when you exit the arrival hall. There are many people holding up signs, so don’t panic just relax and take your time to look for a sign with Goddess Retreats written on it.

Departure Information

The last date listed for your retreat is your final day.

Ideally it’s best to book a flight that leaves Bali after 5pm on the last day as we do have farewell lunch scheduled and if your flight leaves earlier you might be forced to miss it.

You are welcome to enjoy your room and facilities until 3pm check out

LATE DEPARTURERetreat check out is by 3pm. For departures after that time there is a late departure fee of USD 150 per person, which includes continued use of your room and facilities, plus a chauffeured airport transfer.

To organise your chauffeured transfer from the retreat we will need:

AIRPORT transfers  – AIRLINE NAME / FLIGHT NUMBER / DATE / TIME

Based on your flight information, we will arrange your transfer to the airport. Plan for your transfer to leave Ubud 4 hours prior to your international flight. We provide departure transfers on the final day from 8am to 3pm

HOTEL transfers  – HOTEL NAME / ADDRESS / PHONE NUMBER or WEBSITE

If you are departing to other accommodation in Bali, we  provide a complimentary transfer to our Ubud / Mas transfer zone only.

If you are outside of these areas, we can help organize transport from the retreat at your own expense, which can range from $10 - $50 USD approx. depending on the location.

Participation Form

All Goddess Retreat guests are required to sign the Participation Agreement form and Waiver prior to participating on the retreat.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory for all our trips. We require at a minimum, you are covered for overseas emergency medical and repatriation costs, plus sports and activities of your choice from our ‘Bliss Day’ options. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers trip cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

If you have credit card insurance we will require details of the participating insurer/underwriter, the level of coverage, policy number and emergency contact telephone number rather than the Bank's name and credit card details. Please contact your bank for these details.

Spending Money

Every traveler is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. In general, $100 USD will adequately cover meals not included in the retreat package, but please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping, participating in optional activities and tipping.

Money Exchange

Currency exchange rates often fluctuate. For the most up to date rates please refer to the following website: Currency Converter.

The most convenient method of payment out and about Bali is cash. A strange, but true, fact is that lower rates are given at money changers for smaller denomination bills, so be sure to bring larger denominations (i.e. $100 bills) if you plan to change cash. Also please make sure they are new notes as older notes in some currencies (USD) are not accepted at money changers.

The most convenient and cheapest way to obtain local currency in Bali is via an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) using your savings, credit or debit card. Most ATM's will also give you a cash advance on your credit card but be wary of high fees imposed by banks. Also ATM give the cash first, then your card so be sure to check you have both after your transaction.

American Express & Diner Card are NOT widely accepted in Indonesia – Visa & MasterCard are accepted at most places, but will often attract an additional processing fee. (Be sure to let your bank know that you are traveling to Indonesia)
